Word of Life UK has an incredible team of people who love the Lord Jesus and have a deep desire to see the lives of others transformed by His Grace. Learn more about each one of them and consider the opportunity of supporting their ministry.

DAVID KUNZI

Director of Word of Life United Kingdom

David and his family arrived in the United Kingdom in 2022 to lead the ministry. He was born in Switzerland and while he was working in Private Banking in Switzerland, the Lord called him into full-time ministry.

While studying at the Bible Institute of Word of Life Argentina, he met his Argentinian wife, Priscila. She grew up in Argentina as a missionary kid. After finishing her Bible studies, they served for five years in David’s local church in Switzerland’s youth ministry. They were also involved with the Midnight Call ministry connected to the church.

In 2016 with three little kids, they moved to Argentina and joined Word of Life.

David co-led the Bilingual Bible Program in English and started the same program for German-speaking students. During Covid, David was involved in setting up the Online Bible Institute.

ANDRIS AND ANOUSKA MESZAROS

Career Missionaries

Andris was born in Miskolc, Hungary and trusted Christ at the age of 16 during an evangelistic meeting held in his home church. After graduating from the Word of Life Hungary Bible School in 2001, he joined the WOL Hungary full time staff. Anouska was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and trusted Christ when she was 12 at a Billy Graham crusade, which she attended with her Sunday School class.

Anouska attended Word of Life camps in her teens and was involved in the WOLUK Associate Staff programme before enrolling at the WOL Bible School in Hungary. It was there that she met Andris and they were married in 2003. The Lord has blessed them with three children; Kira (born in November 2007), Jacob (October 2010), and Aaron (May 2016).

Andris and Anouska served with WOL Hungary until 2012, when the Lord led them to join the WOLUK staff with an emphasis on children’s ministry. They live in Edinburgh and have many opportunities for evangelism in churches, and schools all over Scotland, as well as in North East England.

JOHN TELLIS

Word of Life UK Trustee

John was born in Scotland to Greek and Scottish parents but grew up in South Africa after his family immigrated there when he was just three.

He married Lesley in South Africa and soon afterwards they decided to move back to Edinburgh, Scotland where they started a business in 2008, which they still run today.

It was at that time the Lord began to work on their hearts and give them a new heart for the Ministry of the Gospel. They were asked by a city Church to be part of a new church plant in Wallyford and immediately said yes! John currently serves as Elder in the Wallyford Livingroom Church.

In 2023 he was invited to be part of the Word of Life UK team as one of the Board of Directors.

John and Lesley have three children and dedicate their time between their business, the local Church and Word of Life UK.
