Oliver Milton

Oliver grew up in Helensburgh, West Scotland, where he was brought up in a Christian home and attended church every week. It wasn’t until he was 18 that he began thinking about what it really meant to be a Christian, realising that, although he lived a moral life, he had never dealt with the problem of sin, or entered into a right relationship with God.

He began attending university studying for a degree in physics. That winter, whilst attending his first WOLUK camp, faced with the Truth of Ephesians 2:8-9, he gave his life to Christ.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV

Afterwards, he began taking an interest in Christian service, and in the work of WOLUK in particular. In 2005, following his graduation from university, He began working full time for WOLUK as their office manager, and continually trusts in the promise of Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Oliver is responsible for the day to day running of the office, and has been involved in ministry throughout central Scotland for many years, before relocating to Hampshire in the South of England.

Oliver and Emily were married in October 2017, and are looking forward to their future of serving God together.
